Enrollment Information

To enroll, click Enroll under the HELPFUL QUICK LINKS section below.
At the time you enroll in the plan, you may also enroll your eligible dependents.
Dependents may be enrolled in the plan only if the student is also enrolled in the plan.

PLEASE NOTE: You may only enroll once for three months maximum,
or up to the end of the term (whichever comes first).

Health Center

On-campus health services
for students

All currently enrolled UM students on the Ann Arbor campus who pay the health service fee as part of tuition are eligible for services at University Health Service (UHS), and do not pay the Domestic Student Health Plan office visit copay when seen at UHS. When appropriate, UHS can bill your insurance for services not supported by the health service fee, such as medications, certain immunizations, laboratory testing, radiology and eye care.

Dearborn Campus

PPO Network

How to search for an
in-network provider

This plan uses the Blue Care Network of Michigan (BCN) provider network within the state of Michigan.

Outside of Michigan, this plan uses the Blue Cross and Blue Shield PPO network through the BlueCard program.

Doctors that appear in the search results are participating providers in their state’s Blue plan, which means they will accept the BCN of Michigan ID card and services performed will be considered in-network.
